Instructions for Authors
1. Manuscript Submission
Authors may submit manuscripts through the NRME Journals online submission system or via the official editorial email. All submissions are acknowledged and can be tracked through the journal platform.
Submission formats:
- Microsoft Word (DOC/DOCX)
- LaTeX (recommended for manuscripts with extensive equations)
- Figures must be provided in high-quality formats (JPEG, TIFF, PNG, or PDF).
2. General Formatting Requirements
Font and Style
- Use Times New Roman, size 10
- Headings and subheadings may use size variation for clarity
- Maintain consistent formatting throughout
Layout
- No strict page or word limit
- Paragraph alignment and spacing will be standardized during production
- Line and page numbers are optional
Language
- Manuscripts must be written in clear and concise English
3. Title Page (Mandatory)
The title page must include:
- Full title of the manuscript
- Names of all authors
- Superscript numbering for multiple affiliations
- Complete institutional affiliations (department, university, country)
- Corresponding author marked with an asterisk (*)
Corresponding author details must include:
- Full name
- Institutional address
- Postal code
- Email address
4. Abstract
- Provide a concise summary of the study
- Should include background, objectives, key findings, and implications
- Avoid citations and references
- Must be non-technical and accessible
Note: Abstract is not required for Editorials, Commentaries, Short Notes, Perspectives, or Letters.
5. Keywords
- Provide 4–5 keywords (minimum 3, maximum 6)
- Separate keywords using commas
- Choose terms that enhance discoverability
6. Manuscript Organization
Introduction
- Present background and context
- Clearly define research objectives
- Include relevant citations
- Explain significance of the study
Materials and Methods
- Describe materials, experimental design, and procedures
- Provide sufficient detail for reproducibility
- Organize using subheadings where appropriate
Results
- Present findings clearly and logically
- Use tables and figures where necessary
- Ensure all figures and tables are numbered sequentially
Discussion
- Interpret results in context of existing research
- Avoid excessive subdivision
- Highlight key implications and limitations
Conclusion
- Summarize major findings
- Emphasize scientific contribution and practical relevance
7. Figures, Tables, and Equations
Figures and Tables
- Must be clearly labeled and cited in the text
- Provide descriptive captions
- Maintain high resolution and clarity
Equations
- Use MathType or LaTeX formatting
- Ensure proper numbering and alignment
- For manuscripts with many equations, LaTeX submission is preferred
8. Abbreviations and Nomenclature
- Define abbreviations at first occurrence
- Provide a list if numerous abbreviations are used
- Use standard scientific units and nomenclature
9. References
- Authors are not required to format references strictly
- Provide complete citation details
10. Acknowledgements
- Keep concise
- Include funding sources and grant numbers (if applicable)
- Avoid thanking anonymous reviewers or editors
11. Ethical Statements
- Conflict of interest declaration
- Funding statement
- Ethical approval (if required)
- Author contributions
- AI usage declaration
12. Article Types
Research Articles
- Full-length original research
- Must include all standard sections
Review and Mini Review
- word limit maximum 10,000 words
- Flexible structure, but should remain logically organized
AI Declaration
The authors acknowledge that artificial intelligence (AI) tools were used during the preparation of this manuscript for purposes such as language refinement, data organization, and preliminary drafting. All scientific content, interpretations, and conclusions were carefully reviewed, verified, and approved by the authors. The authors take full responsibility for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of the work.
