Abstract
Engineers play a central role in shaping national development by transforming scientific knowledge into practical systems that support economic growth, social well-being, and long-term sustainability. This review article examines the multifaceted contributions of engineers to national progress, with a focus on infrastructure development, economic growth, innovation, quality of life, and future-oriented advancement. Drawing on the themes presented in the attached document, the article highlights how engineering capability serves as a key indicator of a nation’s developmental strength and resilience. By analyzing the social, economic, and technological dimensions of engineering practice, this review emphasizes that engineers are not only technical professionals but also key agents of national transformation.
